How Spain Regained Christianity After Muslim Rule

It looks like a good analysis in short for what happened in Spain

Muslims ruled over Spain from 712 AD to 1492 AD for 780 years, yet today there are no Muslims in Spain though every aspect of Spanish life has a touch of Islam. Spanish language has many Arabic words, its music has an Arabic tone, its culture has more Arabic influence than the European, and proper nouns in Spanish often have the Arabic prefix al. From 1492, when the last bastion of Muslim political strength Grenada fell, the Muslims of Spain were on the decline and its culmination took place after 120 years when the last batch of Muslim die-hards left Spain in 1612. From that year, Islam vanished from the Spanish horizons.
A particular noteworthy point is that during this period of Islamic decline from Spain, the entire civilised world was ruled by Muslims. The Ottoman Turks had conquered Constantinople in 1553, and were ruling the entire Balkan Peninsula, Egypt was ruled by the powerful Mamiukes, Persia was at its political pinnacle under the Abbasi rulers, and India was ruled by the Moghals. Still Islam vanished from Spain and none of these great Muslim armies did anything to protect the Muslims of Spain. How Islam was ejected from Spain had been a subject of keen study by lndia’s Hindu Nazis in the 30s and 40s of this century. They studied this aspect to be copied in India and to counter this possibility, the Muslim leaders also studied this to prevent a repetition of the Spanish methods because Muslims (forming 11.35% of the population as per 1981 census) as lndia’s single largest minorities have become the biggest headache to the upper caste Hindus. But the present-day Muslims are totally ignorant of the history of Islamic decline in Spain and hence of the designs surrounding it.
Through this we intend to shed a little light on this subject so that the thinking section of the Muslims and their sympathisers may do some more research on this subject. As in India, Spanish Muslims had three categories: (i) the descendants of the original Arabs, (ii) descendants of Arab fathers and Spanish mothers and (iii) Christian converts to Islam. Immediately after the fall of Grenada many of the original Arabs to save their lives (not property, as they were not permitted to carry their wealth) left Spain to Tunisia and Morocco; many died on their journey by the attacking Christian hordes. Rest of the original Arabs who opted to live in Spain itself were subsequently branded ‘foreigners” (as in India) and destroyers of Spain. The other category of Muslims viz. the descendants of Muslim fathers and Christianmothers and converts from Christianity opted to live in Spain believing in the declaration of King Ferdinand that complete religious freedom would be guaranteed. (in India also, we are told that Muslims enjoy full religious freedom and minority rights). The attacks by Christian on their lives and property during the earlier years was pardoned as a temporary phenomenon.
Compare it with the development that took place in India after the partition (1947). But these attacks on Muslim life and property in Spain did not abate but continued for about 50 years with lesser intensity in a sporadic manner, just as it is happening in India today. In the earlier years, the Indian Muslims resisted and fought back. There were mini-battles in the streets, but gradually there were one-sided attacks and every time Muslims were the losers. Of late, the Hindu police itself is let lose to kill the Muslims in India.
While the organized Christian groups were committing such massacres, Ferdinand’s Govt, in Spain adopted the policy of eliminating Muslims from the services and adopting the following measures:-
Arabic was removed from administration,
schools attached to mosques were debarred from teaching academic and secular subjects like science, history, mathematics and philosophy. Only religious teaching could be imparted,
Lessons in history were faked by which the Muslim rule was dubbed as barbaric. Contribution of Muslims to the development of Spain was avoided,
Muslim houses were made objects of constant searching by police on allegations of arms hoarding and secret meetings,
Original Arab Muslims were projected as enemies of Christians and destroyers of Spain.
Christian converts were persuaded to reconvert to Christianity on the ground that their ancestors were forced to become Muslims and as there is no more coercion, they should revert to Christianity.
Muslims who were from Muslim-Christian parentage were branded as ******** and ridiculed and persuaded to revert to Christianity.
Marriages performed in the Islamic manner were directed to be registered with the judicial officers.
Islamic law was declared illegal. Every method followed in Spain is being experimented in India with better precision and timing.
Thus Muslims in Spain were made objects of ridicule, condemnation and continuous attack. Burning of Muslim houses and shops was encouraged to destroy their economy. Mock ceremonies of reconversion of Muslims to Christianity were held and publicized. In India, Hindu Nazis of all hues-Arya Samaj, Ramakrishna Mission, Vishwa Hindu Parishad etc,. are doing the same. The first two generation of Spanish Muslims adopted passive methods to save their religion by teaching Arabic to their children at home and mosques, and telling them orally about the realities but gradually they lost the zeal. When marriages were ordered to be celebrated only through Govt. agencies, Muslims in early stages performed dual marriages – one with the Govt. authorities and again privately in their homes in the Islamic manner. Gradually the second ceremony was given up as even such a private ceremony was banned.
During this period, Muslim masses gradually fell out of the grips of the Muslim leadership and Muslim elites started flocking to Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt where they were received with sympathy. Poor Muslim masses were left uncared for. This is exactly what is happening in India. The richer, English-educated Muslims are getting Brahminised. They have become imitators of upper caste Hindus as they live not in Muslim localities but in Hindu areas. The poor Muslims (they form 95% of the Muslim population) live in ghettos and being better followers of Islam, they are left high and dry. Hence they are getting killed in all anti-Muslim riots.
The seeds sown in the first half of the century in Spain started yielding results in the second half. There was no political leadership, no organization to protect Muslims and enlightened personalities to save the situation. Religious leaders knowing nothing but Islamic’ theology tried their best to save the situation, but against heavy propaganda by the Govt. agencies, lures and offers to reconverts, ignorance of Islamic values by the masses and sense of inferiority nurtured in the minds of Muslim masses were too big a force to be undone by the theologians. This needed a political leadership and an organization with arms to counter, but there was none. Those who spoke of invoking the help of Muslim powers of Turkey and Egypt were feared and exposed before the authorities (by the Muslims themselves) to be condemned. Without willing fighters, other Muslim powers could not help. Those who had settled in Turkey and Egypt advised the authorities there to desist’from such a thought as otherwise atrocities on Muslims of Spain would increase. An Ahmed Shah Abdaii was needed but th@’@ was none. And the Muslim masses joined the “mainstream” of Spanish life and the mullahs finding no job for their preaching gradually left Spain. And the last batch to leave Spain consisted of the diehard mullahs in 1612
In India also the political leadership of the Muslims became a tail of the Hindu parties led by the upper castes. Only the theological leadership like that of Moulana Hasan Ali Nadvi has tried to maintain the cultural identity of the Indian Muslims.
This “Spanish experiment” is being tried with greater energy and efficiency in India. Urdu, which is as Islamic in India as Arabic was in Spain, is being eased out. Muslims are voluntarily holding on to madrasas. English-educated richer Muslims are away from the Muslim masses. We saw this at the Tablighe Jamat International conference held in Bangalore (DV, March 15, 1985). They are not going to Muslim countries, but are taking refuge in their psychological and physical seclusion. Any move to organise them to protect the Muslim life and property is branded as communal. Any Muslim flirting, if not supporting the upper castes, is called a “nationalist Muslim”. The gulf between the Muslim masses and educated rich Muslims is widening every day. Mass killing of Muslims is considered something natural by the Muslim leadership itself. Whenever it is raised at international Islamic platforms such actions are called interference in the internal affairs of India. Muslims history is deleted from the syllabus. Names of Muslims who died for India are avoided. A great martyr who died for India like Tippu Sultan is unknown to youngsters, whereas the name of Tantia Tope, who fought not for India but for his pension, and Jhansi Laxmi Bai, who fought for her adopted son’s heirship to the throne, is brought on the lips of every Indian. No Muslim gets awards for his contribution to science, medicine, music, art or gallantry. Even those who fought from the ranks of the ruling Congress Party like Moulana Azad, Kidwai, Syed Mahmood, Humayun Kabir etc. do not have a road or extension named after them. But there are half-a-dozen in the names of each upper caste leaders in our towns and cities. History is being re-written. (“Falsifying Indian History”, DV editorial, April 16, 1985). Muslims are killed daily and their houses and shops burnt. The doors of the Army, police and administration are closed to them. And yet Muslim organizations to protect Islam are coming up like mushrooms. Everybody wants to protect Islam and nobody wants to protect Muslims. We are really worried.
A study of the Ruling Class policies reveals that it has great similarity with the one followed by Ferdinand and Isabelle in Spain. The only difference is that the Hindu upper castes are more sharp and sophisticated because of the limitations imposed in the 20th century by the checks exercisable by the United Nations Human Rights Charter and international public opinion.
The systematic and daily anti-Muslim riots resulting in loss of life and property, and above all the sense of fear in the hearts of every Muslim, elimination of the martial Muslims from the Defence, paramilitary and police forces and brahminising of these forces, closing the doors of appointments in Govt. services and public undertakings, Brahminisation of education and mass.media like radio, TV and advertisement, elimination of Urdu as official language from those areas which form the presentday States of Punjab, Haryana, UP, Bihar, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Andhra Pradhesh and Karnataka overnight in 1947-48, gradual closing of Urdu schools are all examples of positive anti-Muslim policies.
On the brahminical psychological warfare side comes the cries of Personal Law amendment, now diluted as common civil code, greatness of the Indian (Hindu) culture, projection of notorious anti-Muslim personalities like “Mahatma” Gandhi, B. G. Tilak, Madan Mohan Malaviya, Veer Savarkar, Lala Laipat Rai as heroes of India to belittle the contribution of Muslims for the development and progress of the country, re-writing of Indian history, describing Muslim professions like beef-selling as a sin and glorifying cow protection policies, introduction of mechanical slaughter of animals to throw out of job butchers, declaration of import and export business carried on by Muslims as smuggling are policies through which vulnerable Indian masses are misguided, resulting in a psychological anti-Muslim bias. Muslim electoral constituencies are divided horizontally and vertically so that they don’t have an effective voting power anywhere and thrusting upon them ultra-secular Muslim leaders who have started worshipping Hindu idols and such scenes being systematically televised. Unfortunately Muslim leaders, who are dejected with the Govt., repose much confidence in Hindu masses and hope to secure their help ignoring the fact that the poor Hindu (Dalit) masses are as much victims of such a propaganda. And as on this day only seeds are being sown. The harvest is yet to come. When the harvest reason comes, what will be harvested in India is repetition of Spain, unless the Muslims resort to counter measures soon.

Mutually assured destruction: America's Debt Ceiling

It is a path they have been heading for years now, in fact decades. Now with downgraded ratings of sovereign debt of USA that nation is headed faster on that path of destruction. For my memory in future I am copy pasting article from The Economist.

The debt-ceiling deal

Mutually assured destruction

Aug 1st 2011, 15:12 by E.G. | AUSTIN
IT'S nice to start a week with news that Congressional leaders, so often criticised for senseless partisanship and saber-rattling, have come together to craft a thoughtful plan that will address a major problem facing America and, perhaps, the entire world. Or it would be nice, I imagine. This morning merely brings us news that Congress has cobbled together a deal to raise the debt ceiling in advance of tomorrow's deadline. Assuming it passes the House, the debt ceiling will be raised by $900 billion right away, with the borrowing offset by $1 trillion in cuts in discretionary spending over the next ten years—no new revenues, in accordance with the Republicans' demands. It also authorises Barack Obama to raise the debt ceiling by an additional $1.2 trillion later, which will allow the Treasury to pay America's bills into 2013, a priority for the president.
In the interim (by the end of the year) a bipartisan commission will be tasked with identifying an additional $1.5 trillion in "deficit reduction". If the commission cannot agree on a plan, their stalemate will automatically trigger some $1.2 trillion in cuts: largely to defence, but also to key non-defence programmes (with Social Security and Medicaid protected). The prospect of those cuts is meant to be so unpleasant as to force legislators to cooperate; and if they refuse, at least they won't take the global economy down with them.
The White House says the commission's discussions will include "tax reform", though John Boehner, in selling the plan to his Republican caucus, has focused only on more cuts. The expiration of the Bush tax cuts, scheduled for the end of next year, will loom over the talks. Their expiration is assumed as part of the CBO's baseline budget projection, so allowing them to expire cannot be counted as part of the $1.5 trillion in further savings. But the White House has indicated that the cuts will be used as "a motivational thing"—that is, if Republicans refuse to find alternative revenue streams, Mr Obama will veto legislation to extend the tax cuts.
The plan inspires no new confidence in our political leaders, but it is relatively clever. It's not ideal to galvanise cooperation by invoking the prospect of mutually assured destruction, but it may just work in this case.
The process that led to the deal may prove more important. Some believe the debt-ceiling saga will have emboldened rogue actors, in this case Republicans, to think that they can hijack the policy process. "By demonstrating that raw extortion works and carries no political cost," writes Paul Krugman, "It will take America a long way down the road to banana-republic status." The saga has certainly added an extra level of toxicity to America's already acidic political discourse. But the political costs have yet to be assessed; Republicans might get their come-uppance. In the meantime, party leaders must move on. Both sides believe themselves to be aggrieved, and dwelling on it will only allow the corrosion to continue.

Some Comments from Readers:

The only winners in this deal are the rich. Plain and simple. They won't be touched by the severe cuts to government assistance many are counting on today just to survive. And they know that in the long-term the only way to keep their taxes from rising is to make these severe cuts now. Disgusting.

"Both sides believe themselves to be aggrieved…"
Pretty much the traditional definition of a compromise, and yet it's very hard to view this as such. In a real compromise, both the decade-long rise in spending and decade-long fall in revenue would have been addressed. This agreement only tackles one side of the problem without anything more than vague promises toward looking at thinking about dealing with the other side. Now that the Repbulicans have successfully field-tested this strategy, what makes anyone imagine they'll be more flexible about revenue enhancements in the future?

So the president got what he wanted. Congratulations Mr. Obama. The republicans, led by RINOs, surrendered as expected. Surrender of course wasn't in doubt: just merely the terms.
- Obama gets $2.1 Trillion of more spending.
- The commission will be composed of both Democrats and Repubs. Who said the Dems won't demand taxes down the road- why would they change their minds on this?
- The money promised to be cut is almost inconsequential. The budget and the government will continue to increase in size.
- Considering the cuts are in the future, but congress can only legislate in the present, the cuts are imaginary anyways.
- The republicans run the house and (until the latest collapse) will likely win the senate next election. Why would the commission be equally made of both parties.
It's a bum deal designed to buttress the ruling class. Feels more like the Missouri Compromise than anything else. The credit rating of the US Government will still be penalized and after Obama spends the $2.1 Trillion the government will be in an even more precarious debt situation then right now.
I understand Obama- he wants to take down the country. I don't understand Boehner's and Mitchell's complicity in this.

The lurch of the Lemmings

With 2G, Radia, illicit funds, and a stubborn CVC, the UPA government's scams are multiplying faster than Lemmings, the little rodents that live mostly in and around the Arctic.
One of the most enduring of media-created myths is that of mass suicide amongst Lemmings, the little rodents that live mostly in and around the Arctic. A 1958 Disney documentary film staged scenes of large numbers of Lemmings marching mindlessly off a cliff to their doom in the waters below. Actually, Lemmings can swim. The rodents see major migrations when they multiply rapidly and their population grows. And when this dispersal finds big numbers crossing large bodies of water, some of them drown by accident, not by intent. However, the Disney film — where they were actually forced off a cliff — and earlier articles, created a false notion that still holds: that Lemmings commit mass suicide by leaping off cliffs and drowning in the waters below. This is also the origin of the political slang: ‘Lemming-like behaviour,' to describe a suicidal course of action.
Political scientists in India 2011 can now be forgiven a rethink on the whole fraud. You begin to wonder if there was some truth in it, after all. The ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) seems determined to prove that this instinct of the little creatures was no myth. The race off the cliff is real, with Congress Lemmings leading the charge of the light-footed brigade. The massive hike in petrol prices at a time of raging food inflation was merely one among such efforts. In just seven months, the price of petrol has gone up by over Rs. 10. The new hike came even as the government announced that it was taking the price rise seriously and has formed yet more panels and Groups of Ministers to study the problem.( Another Group of Ministers was to have met in December 2010 to decide on whether to hike diesel and LPG prices as well. Yet another was to take a call on raising APL foodgrain prices.) Lemmings, after all, mostly act in large groups.
Now that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has rearranged the deck chairs on the Titanic, the impression of a collective rush to mass drowning only grows. Handing the rural development portfolio to a man just trashed by the Supreme Court for protecting moneylenders in Vidharbha while he was Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has a Kamikaze-like courage about it. Not only did the Court admonish Vilasrao Deshmukh in scathing terms, it also enhanced the fine levied by the Bombay High Court's Nagpur bench on the government of Maharashtra in the same case from Rs.25,000 to Rs.10 lakh. Now in normal and non-Lemming circles, this would have led to his unaccompanied exit off the Cabinet Cliff.
Justice A. K. Ganguly in his judgment on the case involving Mr. Deshmukh says, among other things: “The message conveyed in this case is extremely shocking and it shocks the conscience of this Court about the manner in which the Constitutional functionaries behaved in the State of Maharashtra.” The judgment goes on to say “it is clear that the Chief Minister was aware of various complaints being filed against the said family [the moneylenders: PS]. Even then he passed an order for a special treatment in favour of the said family which is unknown to law.”
The judgment notes the debt-induced plight of farmers in that very region and also says of Mr. Deshmukh's action: “This amounts to bestowing special favour to some chosen few at the cost of the vast number of poor people who as farmers have taken loans and who have come to the authorities of law and order to register their complaints against torture and atrocities by the moneylenders.”
Obviously, in Dr. Singh's view, the perfect candidate to preside over the destiny of rural India and its development. A man during whose eight years as Chief Minister of Maharashtra, well over 30,000 farmers took their own lives in the State — a feat unrivalled anywhere in the country. Mr. Deshmukh's most famous remark on the farmers: “Committing suicide is an offence under the Indian Penal Code. But did we book any farmer for this offence? Have you reported that?” (The Hindustan Times, October 31, 2007). Just after the terror attacks of 26/11, he went to the Taj hotel, with his actor son and Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in tow. This provoked outrage in a public which saw them as disaster tourists checking out the rich cinematic promise thrown up by the tragic events. Sacked from his post, Mr. Deshmukh spent some months in cold storage before being elevated to the Union Cabinet.
His successor lost his job over the Adarsh episode and also earned notoriety over the ‘paid news' scandal. On the latter, Ashok Chavan faces a case in the Election Commission and might run into yet more trouble. His successor, imported from New Delhi, gives non-entity a bad name. The NCP, once a declining force, gets a new wind with his arrival. And that party gets more aggressive towards the Congress at the Centre as well, sensing the mess it is in. In Andhra Pradesh, two successive Chief Ministers have spent over a year fighting their own party in a State that contributed 33 MPs to the Congress at the Centre. In West Bengal, the Congress has written itself, with almost Lemming-like fatalism, into a distant third place.
If you watch your Animal Planet you'd expect that, like in other social hierarchies, there are alpha male Lemmings. It requires rare qualities of leadership to guide a bunch of sharp front-toothed mammals off a cliff. Heading the charge means there are lots of large gnawing incisors just behind you. This is no role for the faint-hearted, as Kapil Sibal demonstrated in his stinging attack on the CAG. This was also what happened in the Bofors case, a blistering attack on the then CAG (among other things). The results of that strategy included a government drowning. But history is not the Lemming's long suit. Mr. Sibal might yet learn that the CAG is not a cowering witness in a court room, but the drowning will probably have begun by then. Meanwhile, with 2G, Raja, Radia, illicit funds, and a stubborn CVC, the UPA government's scams are multiplying faster than Lemmings.
Pranab Mukherjee, meanwhile, has made it clear — wagging a finger while doing so — that the government is not about to reveal the names of any tax evaders. Mr. Mukherjee, who heads more Groups of Ministers than have ever been Empowered, suggests there might be one more group soon. That is, to work out Amnesty schemes for tax evaders and those who have illegally siphoned funds out of the country to secret offshore accounts. No one can be named till they are prosecuted, says he. In other words, we will never know the names of those the government chooses not to prosecute.
A Global Financial Integrity Report (The Hindu, Nov. 17, 2010) estimates that India has lost almost half a trillion dollars in illegal capital flight since Independence. As much as $125 billion, or more than a fourth of the total, vanished between just 2000 and 2008. The government plans amnesty for such offenders and arrests for those protesting high prices.
The line has also been laid down on food security: forget about it. There will be neither a universal PDS nor even an enhanced one. Feeding a hungry corporate world takes all the resources we have. Things are about to get much tougher for the whole team. India's premier Lemmings are simply too busy to pay any attention to their day jobs. Even as the onion season winds down, the World Cup Cricket and IPL seasons are about to begin. This means, of course, that we will still see no Agriculture Minister for a further two months. (Unless someone provokes him with a comment on Lavasa.)
Back in 2008, as global food prices soared, Mr. Pawar revealed to the daily,DNA (Page 1, April 2), that the real reason why wheat prices were soaring was that south Indians were eating too many chapathis. In this, he echoed the view of noted nutritionist George W (then also working part-time as President of the United States). Mr. Bush declared that the world food prices were soaring because millions of Indians and Chinese were eating so much more. (Global prices fell sharply just months later. Were millions of Indians and Chinese suddenly starving? Or were big-time speculators giving prices a yo-yo ride?).
Dr. Singh and Montek Ahluwalia have also bought into the Bush Food Doctrine: the huge price rise in food items suggests that the poor are doing better, eating more. The cliff runway is free and the Lemmings have been cleared for takeoff.

Does the dynasty's future lie with Miraya?

First let me Introduce to Miraya:
she is the daughter of Priyanka Vadhara's son, never mind name of father that does not matter.

It is one of the best piece of articles that I have picked up. I wish our literate public understand it and wake up to the reality. Of course it fictional but its what happen in most of the political families that are ruling this country. So here just a sample piece.

Hello voters! Lemme introduce myself- my name is Miraya. I am your new Prime Minister! Chillax, guys. That was just a joke. But seriously, it's time you got to know who i am. The real me. Let's not get into the surname at this point. I am 18 years old. Which means i am old enough to decide.

Old enough to know what i want in life (everything !) . Not because i am a spoilt brat. Not because i believe it's my birthright. But because i am worth it! Well, are you ready to hear this? I want to be a politician. A top politician. Like the rest of my family. We start at the top, and stay there! Lucky, na? My uncle has been an amazing PM. My grandad was super amazing .

As for my great-grandad -come on, he's a legend. My great-great-grandad … never mind. I don't want to show off. Especially not about my granny. By the way, she is still the most powerful person in India. So strict and so fantastic. She could have been PM too. But she preferred to let someone else get there. My granny listened to her inner voice and look where it took her! She has taught me to listen to my inner voice as well.

And that voice is telling me to take the plunge into politics -why wait? Umm, politics is kinda a family biz, if you know what i mean. It's certainly in my jeans, err…genes. Everybody in my family is connected in some way to politics. I find politics really cool.

Dunno how my mom feels about my career choice. But my dad's such a dude -he'll be totally good with the scene. Not so sure about granny's reaction, either. She wasn't too hot on my mom jumping into politics, and maybe granny was right. But it's a different story today- she knows there's nobody else to take our dynasty forward at this point. My brother Raihan is way too young. That leaves me! I really love my granny -Ciao Bella!

India is like a really young country -right ? I am young! You know what? Our generation is fully fed up. We can't stand those old 'unclejis and 'auntyjis' who are forever giving us bhashans on how to run India. Considering the big, fat mess they've made of this place, it's time they handed the nation over to us. Guys, i want to make one thing clear at this point. Trust me, my getting into politics has nothing to do with power, money and all that.

I just feel politics is in my blood and i'll be brilliant at it! Why pretend to be modest? Dad thinks so, too. Last time we went to a polo match, he told me he had a lot of faith in my skills and abilities (i ski really well!) . He also said he is very proud of all my achievements. Mom keeps nagging me to study. But let's be honest -nobody has studied all that much in our family, except for our ancestors. And we've all done just fine. I know i'll have to prove myself in politics -but i have to start somewhere, right? Granny says, start at the top, that's the best place. I agree.

Grassroots work can come later. See how well my uncle did; he just took a few helicopter rides to small villages across the country, talked to some poor people there, ate watery dal out of mud katoris and quickly understood their problems. That was it! People appreciated his sincerity and hard work. He told everybody the true meaning of 'aam janata'. I want to carry forward that legacy. See, i don't need 'contacts' . I understand how to get things done -my mom says i have inherited this trait from my great-grandmom . Frankly, i think i get it from my dad. Whatever!

In this day and age, we need to speak a new language; we need to communicate better. 2020 is a landmark year for the world. India is a superpower today -all thanks to my granny's and uncle's efforts. But there are still a few old issues that need to be sorted. I am not talking about corruption . We all know that will never go. My focus is going to be on other stuff. I studied micro-financing in high school -damn good teacher! My campaign is going to be based on this concept. I'll beg of mom to become my campaign manager.

She's the best! Dad will handle everything else -he's also the best. I have already picked my team -you guys are going to love this -loads of Bollywood stars in my future cabinet. These people are the only ones who understand the pulse of India. Our entire strategy is youth-based -forget issues . Our candidates will be chosen on their box-office performance.

They have to be tops in the looks department. Hot bods make a huge difference on posters and in TV commercials. Our research shows voters want candidates in designer gea-they are sick of those old, pot-bellied netas in crumpled kurta -pajamas . Imagine how super cool and colour-coordinated parliamentary proceedings will look during live broadcasts with my team. We want India to seriously rock, that's our motto.

This is my party's promise, guys. Party on! As in political party, yaar -what were you thinking! Our time starts in 2020 -may the cutest hotties win!
